After working for over fifteen years in recruitment and the welfare-to-work industry Emma Alkirwi found it disheartening to watch people that she knew would be capable of the roles they were applying for fail to secure interviews. She quickly realised it was due to their CVs and set up The CV Guru to help candidates to make the most of their CVs and secure interviews for their ideal job.
The CV Guru began working with workingmums.co.uk in 2019, advertising CV writer roles for professional women looking for flexible and home-based opportunities, and they described their experience with us as ‘collaborative‘, giving us an overall rating of five out of five stars.
The quality of candidates who applied for jobs was considered ‘excellent’ by The CV Guru and they were ‘extremely satisfied‘ with the number of applications that they received.
The different brands were well explained. Placing an advert was easy and also effectively showcased on the website.
The CV Guru has recently taken on 3 new employees which they gained exclusively through workingmums.co.uk. They also placed 2 other staff advertising with us in the past, who are now excelling in their new roles.
