workingmums.co.uk held a virtual roundtable with HR and Diversity & Inclusion leads to discuss diversity and inclusion post-Covid-19.
On July 19th 2020 a range of diversity and recruitment experts from 13 different organisations came together at a virtual round table to discuss whether diversity and inclusion will continue to move forwards in the wake of Covid-19 and the Black Lives Matter protests.
The round table event was hosted by Gillian Nissim, founder of WM People, publishers of workingmums.co.uk.
Gillian welcomed guests and emphasised how vital it is that that D & I did not fall off employers’ agendas, as research has shown the disproportionate impact the pandemic was having on women. She said the Black Lives Matter protests had highlighted the need for greater action on diversity and anti-racism.
