White Paper: Hybrid Working – Emerging Best Practice

Hybrid working

Hybrid working has come to the fore as a result of Covid, although many companies were using it before that. It has now become more mainstream, however, and employers are having to develop policies around how it works and how it is managed.

At a roundtable, sponsored by Roche, we heard from experts and employers about their experiences, their challenges and how they have dealt with issues such as potential resentment from those who cannot work remotely and visibility and inclusion concerns.

If you are looking to improve your policies, order your copy of the upcoming white paper that will document the discussion.

Areas discussed included:

  • Lessons learned from the past year
  • Dealing with conflict (office worker and home workers; also customer facing vs desk-based workers).
  • Including hybrid workers as equals (visibility – monitoring different ways of working i.e. promotion)
  • Promoting hybrid workers
  • Supporting hybrid workers and line managers (for example, giving them a voice, technology support)
